The 2026 Ladbrokes Doomben 10,000 was won at $61 by the eight-year-old Rothfire on Saturday, Brad Rawiller in the saddle, Robert Heathcote in the box. The race lost four runners to scratchings on the soft track, the favourite Jimmysstar finished out of the placings, and the boilover of the Brisbane carnival had the Eagle Farm faithful checking their tickets twice.
