Bulldogs v Storm at Accor: Origin Reps Strip the Storm, Bulldogs Favourite, Kiraz Back

Round 12 opens at Accor Stadium tonight with the Bulldogs hosting the Melbourne Storm at 8pm AEST. The Storm lose Munster, Hughes, Coates, Asofa-Solomona and Grant to Origin duty. Both Origin camps wrapped up their first Wednesday training session ahead of Game 1 at Accor Stadium on 27 May. Laurie Daley took the Blues through their first field block on the Central Coast. Magic Round Judiciary: Hopoate Banned for Referee Contact, Herbert Two Games for Head Slam, Riki Facing Two

The NRL judiciary report from Magic Round arrived on Monday evening with one of the longer charge sheets of the season. Manly winger Lehi Hopoate copped a one-match Contrary Conduct ban for chest-bumping referee Grant Atkins, Wests Tigers centre Patrick Herbert was suspended two games for a head slam on Hopoate, and Broncos enforcer Preston Riki is facing a two-match ban on his third offence of the year. Dane Gagai goes to Tuesday night's judiciary to fight a Dangerous Contact charge.

Origin Teams Named: Six Blues Debutants, Walsh Axed for Ponga, Sam Walker Debuts for Maroons, Latrell Out

Both Origin Game 1 squads were named in Sydney and Brisbane on Monday morning. Laurie Daley named six Blues debutants headed by Addin Fonua-Blake. Billy Slater dropped reigning Clive Churchill medallist Reece Walsh, recalled Kalyn Ponga, and handed Sam Walker the No.7 jersey on debut. Latrell Mitchell is out of the series with the leg injury he suffered on Friday night.
